Unity Cup 2024/2025 – Ibite-Okpatu

The Unity Cup 2024/2025, proudly sponsored by Akah Godwin Charity Foundation, was more than just a football tournament—it was a celebration of community spirit, youth empowerment, and peace-building in Ibite-Okpatu Autonomous Community, Udi LGA, Enugu State.

This landmark event brought together vibrant young talents from across the six villages of the community: Amani, Amachalla, Amoka, Amolugbo, Obiagu, and Amagu-Umuene. The tournament served as a unifying force, creating a platform for interaction, healthy competition, and cultural bonding.

Objectives:

• Promote unity and peaceful coexistence

• Discover and encourage young sporting talents

• Engage the youth in positive and developmental activities

• Reinforce the foundation’s mission of upliftment through empowerment and inclusion

The tournament witnessed enthusiastic community participation, lively match days, and a remarkable display of talent and teamwork. Trophies, medals, and prizes were awarded to winning teams and outstanding players, creating unforgettable memories and igniting a renewed sense of pride and purpose in the hearts of the youths.
